To protect both the company and our clients, FCPM holds all required licenses and top-quality insurance as part of running our business. Since its inception, FCPM has continually held a valet parking permit from the San Francisco Police Department and a license by the SF Tax Collector since its founding in April, 2015.
Unlike many companies, FCPM takes no risks when it comes to insuring our valets, and we always insure every driver before they are placed behind a wheel. FCPM carries garage keeper’s insurance with a minimum of $2 million dollars in liability coverage in addition to workers compensation insurance for our staff. FCPM will name your organization as "additional insured" under our policy in order to provide legal protection to you, our client. We hold insurance coverage for every single one of our drivers, which means you never have to worry about being protected.
We require high standards for all of our employees to ensure you receive quality support with an emphasis on security. Because of this, our employee hiring process and requirements for employee conduct are higher than many similar parking management companies.
Our rigorous standards begin before we even hire an employee. Prior to hiring and training, all FCPM staff are subject to a mandatory DMV record search. Only drivers with an acceptable driving history are allowed to join our team. This standard is "no more than one point" on their current DMV record. If an existing employee who is otherwise in good standing incurs a second point during his or her employment, the situation is handled on a case-by-case basis and may result in termination. Any FCPM staff member with a serious infraction, such as a DUI or 3 cumulative points, will be immediately terminated.FCPM prides itself on hiring only the finest people and this has been our recipe for success. FCPM rigorously reviews references and generally selects trainees that have held the same prior job for multiple years.

We have never discriminated against a prospective or current employee on the basis of religion, sex, ethnicity, age, etc. As the final decision maker in all employment decisions, Nathan Koff may not select a trainee based on his or her "paper qualifications" and instead choose the candidate he believes is best suited to represent our clients' interests and acclimate to our company culture.
After completing our hiring screening, FCPM maintains high standards for how our employees conduct themselves. All FCPM staff are expected to comport themselves in a friendly and professional manner at all times while on client premises or while wearing their FCPM uniform.
Punctuality is critical to our success and the success of our clients, and for this reason, we have a strict policy on arriving late. Our staff are paid to clock in 5 minutes before their official start time, a cost FCPM readily absorbs in order to incentivize timeliness and reward those who arrive early. We utilize a time-keeping software program to track employee shifts and meal breaks. Any staff member who clocks-in late twice in a single month is verbally reprimanded if either tardiness was minor. If either tardiness was significant, they are notified in writing that a third occurrence will result in termination.
FCPM staff wear high-visibility white work-shirts emblazoned with our logo and white "track-jackets" that also have our logo in addition to the word "valet" stitched across the back shoulder. Staff are incentivized to keep their company issued clothing in immaculate condition through a monthly bonus program. Staff will have their white shirts tucked in to black pants, with a black belt and will wear the black or mostly black comfortable shoes of their choice.
Of the hundred+ staff who have worked for FCPM since 2015, only a handful have ever been subject to discipline and only 3 have been terminated for cause. We attribute this highly favorable ratio to being a good judge of character and making the correct hiring decisions in the first place.
